J’avais rencontré Nikita deux jours avant cette scène, lors de la projection de « Montre-moi du rose » à l’Elyzée Biarritz. Ce jour-là, au bureau, ce devait être une simple rencontre mais elle a voulu tourner tout de suite. Elle a massacré mon bureau ! Pour votre serviteur et pour Claire, mon assistante, qui tenait la seconde caméra, il n’y avait aucun doute : une star était née. Jugez-en par vous-même : elle avait déjà toute l’énergie, la folie et l’humour qui l’ont rendue célèbre. Amusez-vous bien.

I met Nikita two days before this scene, during the screening of one of my films, in a Parisian cinema. That morning, at the office, we were not supposed to film anything. It was only a meeting. But she insisted: she wanted me to film it. So I did. She destroyed my desk ! And when this scene stopped, it was obvious for my assistant Claire and for myself that a star was born.
